AVM FRITZ | FRITZ!Powerline 1220E International Set CPL

The FRITZ!Powerline 1220E kit turns every outlet into two secure and fast gigabit network ports. With the Powerline gigabit adapter with up to 1,200 Mbit/s and the latest 2 x 2 MIMO technology, you benefit from significantly more robust connections, greater range and higher data rates. This makes it possible to use bandwidth-intensive applications even in the smallest corners of your house and flat.

The FRITZ!Powerline 1220E enables fast and reliable connection of network devices such as computers, TVs or game consoles even over long distances within the home network. Two high-speed Gigabit LAN ports are available for each adapter. The connection via the power line allows for the elimination of long distances and obstacles such as walls and ceilings. In contrast to the 500 and 200-MBit/s Powerline adapters, the FRITZ!Powerline 1220E offers significantly higher transmission capacity and more robust connections, combined with high energy efficiency. This means that several bandwidth-intensive applications can be operated in parallel.

Powerful 2x2-MIMO technology
The FRITZ!Powerline 1220E is ideal for bandwidth-intensive network applications such as HD video transfer (also in 3D) and fast Internet connection, online gaming, web TV, NAS connection and video on demand. The transfer quality is not compromised, even by the large distances between the adapters. By using two pairs of wires simultaneously, 2x2 MIMO technology offers up to 60% greater range in the power supply network for significantly more stable connections and gross transmission rates of up to 1,200 MBit/s. If both wire pairs cannot be used simultaneously, the wire pair that offers the best transfer (diversity) for robust transmission is automatically selected.

Simple and secure right out of the box
The AVM FRITZ!Powerline products are distinguished in particular by the default encryption, which enables immediate secure commissioning. As soon as the adapters are plugged into the appropriate sockets and connected via LAN cable to the FRITZ!Box and the devices to be networked, the Powerline network is set up with individual AES-128 bit encryption (Plug & Play). The FRITZ!Powerline 1220E is compatible with current 1200, 500 and 200 Mbit/s devices. Updates can be carried out easily via the FRITZ!Powerline program or via the FRITZ!Box user interface.
