Right of withdrawal

In the context of distance sales to consumers falling within the scope of Title VI "Market practices and consumer protection", the consumer has the right to notify the company that he/she renounces the purchase, without payment of penalties and without giving any reason, within 14 days from the day after the delivery. If this period expires on a Saturday, Sunday or public holiday, it is extended to the next working day. This right of withdrawal is recognized by HIFI International to the consumer to allow him to appreciate the purchased good under the same conditions as in a shop. This right of withdrawal does not apply to legal entities or to products acquired by a natural person for professional use.

Exceptions:

Products not eligible for the right of withdrawal (unless unpacked and sealed):

Not remarketable for reasons of hygiene :

• Products in contact with the skin: razors, hair clippers, depilatory appliances, facial care products, manicure/pedicure appliances, electro-stimulators, anti-cellulite appliances, blood pressure monitors, thermometers, foot baths, medical devices, etc.

• Products in contact with hair: brushes, straighteners, curling irons, multistylers, curlers...

• Headphones

• Dental hygiene products

Other exclusions :

• Perishable goods and products, rapidly outdated

• Components of a single sales lot

• Computer software

However, this right of withdrawal can only be exercised if the customer notifies SA HIFI international / Service "Cancellation of e-shop order", Rue Läiteschbaach 2, L-5324 Contern, within 14 days from the day following the delivery date, and if the unused goods are returned within the same period of time in their original packaging. We will send you an e-mail to confirm your wish to exercise your right of withdrawal.

If you make use of your right of withdrawal, we ask you to return the goods in their original condition and new packaging, together with all the accessories supplied, in accordance with our terms and conditions. If the item has been sent to you filmed, it must be returned with an over-wrap, in addition to its original packaging.

In case of exercising his right of withdrawal, the customer will return the goods to SA HIFI international, by all means, at his own risk and expense. Therefore, shipments "carriage paid by the addressee" or "cash on delivery" will be refused. In the interest of the customer, we advise to have the proof of forwarding validated by the post office or by the carrier. HIFI International can also take care of the return of the articles for a flat rate of €10.00 VAT by calling +352 20 80 00 00 or by e-mail to service.clients@hifi.lu and mentioning your name and order number.

You will be responsible for the return costs. We will indicate the exact cost for this return or give an estimate, if it is impossible to predict the exact cost. If it is not possible to return the goods by post, we will collect the goods at our own expense.

Please return the goods to the address set out in clause 1.1 hereof, together with the delivery documents and any invoice.

Where the right of withdrawal has been exercised in accordance with the above conditions, we will defer reimbursement until the day of collection of the item(s). Once we have received the item(s), we will reimburse you, within 30 days, for any sums you may have paid us for the purchase of the item(s)
