We spend 90% of our time indoors. House dust, allergens and pollen can accumulate inside your home, and formaldehyde can be released from your household items for years. This volatile gas can come from wood, adhesives and fabrics that end up in floors and household furniture in everyday life. All these pollutants can build up invisibly and contaminate the air you breathe.
Dyson Purifier Cool Formaldehyde makes your home cleaner and more hygienic by capturing 99.95% of pollutants as fine as 0.1 microns2, such as dust, allergens and viruses, and even destroys formaldehyde.
Detects and reports
The latest Dyson Purifier Cool Formaldehyde has a new detection system with 4 sensors: 1) particles, 2) humidity and temperature, 3) gases, and 4) formaldehyde. They constantly analyse your air and the pollutants lurking in it. A unique algorithm checks the data several times every second, detects pollutants at a molecular level and displays the results in real time on the LCD screen and on the Dyson Link app. Plus, the new sensor used to detect formaldehyde maintains accuracy for the life of your machine.
Capture and destroy
The unit features an advanced filtration system with a fully sealed H13 360° HEPA filter that captures 99.95% of ultra-fine particles, such as dust, allergens and viruses2,8. Combined with a layer of activated carbon, it is also capable of eliminating potentially dangerous odours, gases and VOCs5. Finally, the Dyson catalytic filter continuously captures and breaks down formaldehyde molecules into water and CO2. And it never needs replacing. In our latest purifiers, it's not just the filter that complies with HEPA H13 standards designed to prevent pollutants from re-entering the air: the entire appliance does too4. So what goes in stays in.
Diffuse
What's more, only Dyson purifiers have Air Multipler™ technology that captures dirty air and diffuses clean air throughout the room3. The Dyson Purifier Cool Formaldehyde generates a unique spray pattern that multiplies the airflow up to ten times. The circulating power draws even the most distant pollutants into the unit, purifying the whole room with an airflow of up to 290 l/s3.
A number of built-in, configurable functions let you control the power and direction of the airflow. Thanks to the adjustable oscillation, you can decide where you want to throw the air by rotating the unit up to 350°. In warmer temperatures, a powerful stream of purified air can refresh you, while the room mode distributes a stream of air from the back of the appliance to purify without cooling you. The acoustics of the new Dyson purifier have also been improved to be 20% quieter than the previous model, and 50% quieter in night mode, when the device controls and purifies using the quietest settings, with lower brightness.
Dyson Link app
The Dyson Link app lets you control and monitor your Dyson Link purifier wherever you are.6. Just like the device's LCD screen, the app displays real-time air quality reports so you can monitor indoor pollution levels. The app also lets you control the oscillation of the air flow and the various functions associated with it. Finally, you can always be sure that the appliance is working optimally thanks to the filter status notifications and the notifications you receive when it's time to replace the filter.
Certified hypoallergenic
Allergens don't stop at the door. Pollen, dust, bacteria and pet allergens know how to get into your home and build up over time. Dyson purifiers remove 99.95% of airborne allergens such as pollen and dust. According to the European Centre for Allergy Research Foundation (ECARF), this can make a significant contribution to reducing symptoms in people with high fever or allergic asthma. Dyson purifiers are certified by ECARF as allergy-friendly, which means the appliances are able to reduce air pollutants and help reduce allergen exposure and symptoms in allergy and asthma sufferers.
