How does it work?
The Dyson HEPA filtered humidifier fan has key Dyson technologies that enable it to properly clean and humidify an entire room. Intelligent sensors detect and automatically respond to formaldehyde, airborne particles and gases, as well as temperature and humidity levels. The sensors diagnose pollutants and report them in real time on the LCD screen and via the Dyson Link app. The catalytic filter permanently captures and destroys formaldehyde without ever needing to be replaced. The Dyson Purifier Humidify + Cool Formaldehyde purifier combines an activated carbon filter that removes gases and odours with a fully sealed HEPA H13 filter that captures 99.95% of ultra-fine particles2 from the air such as allergens and the H1N15 virus. This fully sealed airflow and filtration system prevents stale air from escaping. So what goes in stays in.

The new evaporative humidification technology solves the hygiene problems associated with conventional humidifiers by preventing the growth of bacteria and requiring less maintenance. Combined with Ultraviolet Cleanse technology, it kills 99.9% of bacteria in the water tank and hygienically humidifies the air. The HEPA-filtered air is hygienically humidified by means of an antibacterial evaporator. Biostatic silver strands are woven into the 3D air mesh of the evaporator to prevent the growth of bacteria. An efficient water management system and a 5 litre water tank give you continuous humidification - up to 36 hours, without regular refilling.

How often you run the Dyson deep cleaning cycle depends on the hardness of the water where you live. The machine prompts you to run the cycle once a month in hard water areas. It prompts you less often in softer water areas. You can select your water hardness with the Dyson Link app.

New airflow modes - for optimum comfort
Jet Axis lets you control your airflow, all year round. Two oscillators guide the airflow through the openings at a range of 90°. They project separately or in unison, so you can choose different airflow patterns. The Dyson Purifier Humidify+Cool has three airflow modes. Fan mode delivers cooling airflow from the front of the machine. Diffuser mode diverts airflow to the back of the machine, to purify and humidify, without cooling you. In addition, the Jet Axis control offers a new airflow mode, called Breeze mode. The machine's unique algorithms vary the airflow to mimic a cooling and refreshing breeze.

Dyson Link app
The Dyson Link app lets you monitor and control your humidifier fan. You can understand and adjust the conditions in your home, wherever you are. The app displays real-time air quality reports so you can monitor air pollution and humidity levels. In the Link app or with the remote control, you can select the automatic mode for humidification and purification. The machine also has a night mode, for the quietest settings with a greyed-out display. You can ensure that your machine is always working at its best with notifications about cleaning and filter replacement.
