The Z10 with P.R.G. revolutionizes the preparation of hot and Cold Brew coffee specialties

A true masterpiece of Swiss engineering, the new Z10 doubles the range of available coffee specialties. It prepares the full range of hot products, from intense espresso to trendy flat whites, with a simple touch of a button. And with Cold Brew specialties, it opens up a parallel universe of coffee enjoyment. These innovations are made possible by the Product Recognising Grinder (P.R.G.), which recognizes the selected specialty and precisely adjusts the grind fineness in an instant.

JURA has also developed the Cold Extraction Process, a refreshing new method, quite literally. Cold water is injected through the freshly ground coffee with slow, high-pressure pulses. The result unveils coffee in an entirely new light – refreshing, invigorating, with wonderfully balanced aroma.

This top-of-the-line marvel of a machine is operated with a 4.3” fast-touch color visual, coupled with the Blue Crystal Rotary Switch. The new Product Recognising Grinder (P.R.G.)

To ensure optimal grinding for each specialty, JURA's engineers have developed the Product Recognising Grinder (P.R.G.). This precision grinder with electronic control adjusts within fractions of a second to the pre-defined grind fineness – with a speed and frequency impossible to replicate by hand. The adjustment range spans from very fine grind for short classics to a coarser grind for extended specialties. But coffee enthusiasts need not worry about this: the adjustment is automatic with each preparation. And thanks to the Aroma Selection function, it's also possible to select the desired strength before each preparation.

Cold Brew Technology: Freshness at Its Peak

Thanks to the Cold Extraction Process, the Z10 prepares authentic Cold Brew specialties. Conventional cold beverages are mostly made by percolating hot coffee before cooling. However, with the Z10, extraction is achieved with cold water pulsating at high pressure and a generally coarser grind. The result in the cup: a refreshing and naturally invigorating beverage that highlights the fruity coffee aromas, without being overwhelmed by bitter compounds. Anything but a simple cold coffee!

An 8th Generation Percolation Unit

The percolation unit is the heart of an automatic coffee machine. The one equipped in the Z10 represents the eighth generation designed by JURA. With its unique 3D percolation technology, water flows uniformly across multiple levels through the coffee powder. This extracts the maximum aroma, for both hot specialties and Cold Brew beverages.
