Smaller and lighter to generate the suction power of a canister vacuum.¹ The Dyson V10 digital motor features a ceramic shaft, hardened at 1,600°C to be 1.5 times stiffer than steel while having half the density. That means it can spin up to 125,000 times/minute.

A powerful motor inside the brush allows the stiff nylon bristles to penetrate deep into the carpet to remove embedded dirt and pet hair. Anti-static carbon fiber filaments remove fine dust from hard floors.(3)
