Return your used cartridges and toners to us — we recycle them with the help of our partner Recoll
Do you own a printer?
If so, you regularly need ink cartridges or toners. Once they are used, don't throw them away: bring them to a HIFI International store to give them a second life and help protect the environment.
What happens to the used cartridges we collect?
Once a month, Recoll collects all the used cartridges and toners from our central warehouse to give them a new life.
Upon arrival at Recoll, the cartridges are unpacked, sorted, visually inspected, and classified.
They are then sent to a production site, where they undergo a second visual inspection and an electronic quality control.
If the cartridge meets the highest quality standards, it is thoroughly cleaned, refilled using a vacuum filling method, strictly tested, and repackaged.
This process enables the production of remanufactured cartridges, which are sold in major retail outlets under various brands.
Since 2003, Recoll has collected over 20 million empty ink cartridges and toners.
