The Miele KMDA 7473-1 FL Silence is an induction hob with integrated extractor that reinvents kitchen organisation by combining two essential functions in a single compact appliance. With its 800 mm width, it offers a generous cooking area while keeping the view above the worktop unobstructed, with no unsightly overhead hood.

This hob features 4 cooking zones, including two particularly flexible Flex zones, able to accommodate cookware of different sizes, from the smallest to the largest, with maximum power reaching up to 3700 W thanks to the Booster function. Continuous pot detection ensures power is constantly adjusted to actual cooking needs.

A true highlight of this model, the Silence motor was specially developed by Miele for particularly quiet operation, with a minimum sound power of just 41 dB(A) in extraction mode. Installation is designed to suit any configuration: ducted extraction mode venting outside or recirculation mode in a closed circuit, with a Plug & Play installation requiring no complex connections thanks to the included adapter.

Control is via the ComfortSelect Plus interface, a compact and intuitive row of touch controls with a yellow digital power-level display, allowing precise adjustment of both cooking and extraction. The Con@ctivity function automatically regulates extraction power according to cooking intensity, for optimal ease of use with no manual intervention.

User comfort is comprehensive: Stop & Go function to instantly pause cooking, automatic keep-warm function, programmable cooking start, recall function, timer and automatic shut-off. On the safety side, the appliance includes a safety shut-off, a start-up lock, a built-in cooling fan and a residual heat indicator.

Maintenance has been given particular attention, with an easy-to-clean ceramic glass surface and an easy-care CleanCover hood interior, complemented by quick and intensive hood cleaning cycles. The filtration system relies on a dishwasher-safe stainless steel metal grease filter, while an indicator signals when the activated charcoal filter needs replacing.
