Compact (115 × 295 × 165 mm) and lightweight (1.2 kg), the R9 conceals a true concentration of technology: FM reception (with RDS), DAB+ and Internet radio, all supported by automatic online station updates. It also offers Bluetooth streaming to play audio content from a smartphone or tablet.

The delivered sound impresses with its richness: two stereo speakers supported by a bass‑reflex port provide deep, nuanced audio, enhanced by an integrated equalizer to adjust tone and depth according to your preferences.

The user interface is designed for simplicity: the 2.4″ TFT color display allows for clear navigation, and the Tune/Select dial makes it easy to select menus, adjust volume, and even enter Wi‑Fi passwords. An infrared remote control is also included to operate the device from a distance.

Comfort features are numerous: you can automatically synchronize the time via NTP, set up two separate alarms with a choice of source (FM/DAB+ radio, Internet station, or tone), and use a sleep timer of up to 180 minutes.

In terms of connectivity, the R9 is compatible with Wi‑Fi (802.11b/g/n standards) and Ethernet RJ45 for a stable connection. It supports DLNA and uPnP protocols, making it easy to play audio files hosted on a local network. A 3.5 mm Aux input and headphone output also allow you to use external sources or listen privately.

The internal memory can store up to 99 favorite stations, easily accessible via the menu or the dedicated button on the remote control. You can also search for stations by genre or geographic region via Skytune, or enter a name to quickly filter the results.
