At the heart of the NODE ICON, a dual-mono DAC design features two ESS SABRE ES9039Q2M converters. The result: impressive dynamic range, ultra-low distortion (THD+N of 0.0004%) and a signal-to-noise ratio of -129 dB on the XLR output. MQA Labs' QRONO d2a technology corrects timing errors during digital-to-analogue conversion, for playback that stays true to the original recording. The NODE ICON plays high-resolution files up to 192 kHz as well as DSD256.

With the BluOS app, access all the major streaming services and your personal music libraries. Apple AirPlay 2 and aptX Adaptive Bluetooth open up even more possibilities. Dual-band Wi-Fi ensures dropout-free listening, and the NODE ICON fits into a BluOS multi-room system so you can play the same music throughout your home, or different playlists in each room.

The THX AAA™ headphone amplifier, renowned for its exceptional linearity, delivers remarkably low noise and distortion. Two 6.35 mm (1/4") jacks, on the left and right, welcome your high-end headphones for uncompromising audiophile listening.

Comprehensive connectivity

With balanced XLR, RCA, coaxial, optical and USB outputs on one side, and HDMI eARC, optical, analogue and USB-C inputs on the other, the NODE ICON connects to any amplifier, powered speakers or headphones. Thanks to HDMI eARC and Dolby Digital, it also enhances the sound of your TV, films and games, with a single cable. Its ES9826 SABRE ADC reproduces analogue sources with minimal noise.

Optimised acoustics

Compatible with Dirac Live, available as an upgrade directly from Dirac (calibration kit with microphone sold separately), the NODE ICON measures your room's acoustics and corrects standing waves and unwanted reverberation. Sound becomes clearer, more balanced and more detailed.
