Description
The AEG 6000 Bridge induction hob (model TO64IB0FFB) blends elegance and modern technology to elevate your kitchen. Its black ceramic glass design features two bevelled edges for a refined, contemporary finish. With a standard width of 59 cm (cut-out: 560 × 490 mm, height 44 mm), it integrates seamlessly into today’s worktops. Installation is simplified thanks to the OptiFix™ system, designed for one-step fitting.
It offers four powerful induction zones with up to 14 power levels via Direct Touch Controls: two flexible zones on the left (210 mm, 2,300 W boost to 3,200 W) and two standard zones on the right (front: 145 mm, 1,400 W boost to 2,500 W; rear: 180 mm, 1,800 W boost to 2,800 W). The Bridge function links the two left zones to accommodate long pans or fish kettles, synchronising temperature and time.
Performance & safety: PowerBoost accelerates heat-up, bringing water to the boil in under 90 seconds. EcoTimer leverages residual heat by switching off the zone early to save energy. Hob2Hood® connects the hob to a compatible hood, which automatically adjusts extraction according to cooking intensity. Additional functions such as Pause, timer (up to 1 hour), child lock, acoustic signal, residual heat indicator (3 levels), automatic switch-off, and recall/restart enhance convenience and safety.
Electrical consumption: This model requires three-phase (or single-phase depending on version) electrical connection with a maximum power of 7.2 kW. The net weight is approximately 11.6 kg.
