Description
The Smeg SI2641DL induction hob from the Universal range stands out as a preferred choice for users seeking a high-performance, secure appliance with great aesthetic sobriety. With a standard width of 60 cm, this black ceramic glass hob features straight edges and a highly discreet gray serigraphy, ensuring seamless integration into all contemporary kitchens. Thanks to its versatile design, it offers optimal installation flexibility as it can be built-in with a flush or semi-flush fit into a standard cutout of 478-482 mm by 555-560 mm.
This electric model is equipped with four independent induction zones that guarantee instantaneous thermal responsiveness and superior energy efficiency, with heat being transferred directly to the cookware. The cooking zone configuration includes two 21.0 cm diameter zones (located front left and rear right), developing a nominal power of 1.50 kW and capable of reaching 2.00 kW thanks to the Booster function. The other two zones, with a diameter of 15.0 cm (located rear left and front right), display a power of 1.20 kW with a Booster rising to 1.60 kW. The appliance also features automatic pan detection and automatic adaptation to the pan diameter to minimize energy loss.
Ergonomics and user comfort are at the heart of this hob's design. Its frontal touch control panel illuminates with red LEDs and offers 9 power levels to precisely adjust the heat intensity according to the type of preparation. Conveniently, the quick selection function allows cooking to start at the highest level before automatically reducing over time, which is ideal for dishes requiring a rapid boil followed by continuous simmering. Additionally, the appliance integrates four end-of-cooking timers (ranging from 1 to 99 minutes with an acoustic signal) and four independent minute minders to serenely manage all your recipes. This model is also documented under the technical reference SI2641DL_fr-FR.pdf.
Finally, Smeg has equipped this model with a comprehensive arsenal of safety features. In addition to the control lock, ideal in the presence of children, the hob features an automatic switch-off system in case of overheating, a residual heat display active as long as the temperature is above 60°C, and protection against accidental start-up. For its connection, it features a nominal power of 2800 W and comes with a 180 cm single-phase power cable equipped with a standard Schuko plug.
