When it comes to water resistance, we designed a speaker that works not just the first time you get it wet, but every time you do. We started with IPX7, and we exceeded it. We rigorously tested the speaker in a variety of situations. Our speaker will work even after a dip in the pool. And even in the sea. No stress if you drop it in the water. Just take it out of the water and press play.

Materials are important
No one is immune to accidents. And when they do happen, you don't want to be left with a broken speaker. That's why we chose to use silicone rubber for the exterior of the SoundLink Micro speaker. This high-quality material eliminates as many seams and gaps as possible (and is resistant to knocks, scratches and cracks). Portable performance that goes with you wherever you go.

One application. Complete control.
The Bose Connect app gives you easy control over all your product's capabilities. Get tips, unlock features and customize your settings so you can spend more time listening to your music and less time configuring your product. You can also easily manage your speaker's Bluetooth connections with a single touch, and play DJ in the making. And when the sound level isn't loud enough, switch to party mode by connecting two wireless speakers simultaneously. Or choose Stereo mode to separate the left and right channels and enjoy rich, dynamic surround sound.

SimpleSync: Enjoy your movies and music even more
Bose SimpleSync is a new technology that pairs a Bose home speaker product with a selection of Bose Bluetooth® portable speakers or Bose Noise Cancelling Headphones 700. The technology is easy to use and extremely convenient.

SimpleSync speaker-to-speaker connection: When dinner becomes a party
Let's say you're having a small party with friends, but their own friends start to arrive and the room keeps filling up. It would be better if some of the guests went elsewhere, but this is the room where the music is playing, so how can you blame them? If you're using a Bose Home Speaker product and you have a portable Bose Bluetooth speaker*, you can use SimpleSync to pair them and play the same music, at the same time. So your guests can spread out and enjoy the music and the party. SimpleSync technology offers a traditional Bluetooth wireless range of up to 30 feet (9 meters) to keep the products connected.
