AVM FRITZ Repeater Mesh Wi-Fi Extender 1600 (FRITZ!Repeater 1200 AX)

Mesh Wi-Fi Extender 1600. For the best Wi-Fi, everywhere.

The Mesh Wi-Fi Extender 1600 (FRITZ!Repeater 1200 AX International Edition) quickly and easily extends the range of any Wi-Fi network. Innovative Wi-Fi 6 technology ensures higher data rates and better distribution of the available bandwidth across all connected devices. At the same time, the Mesh Wi-Fi Extender 1600 ensures flawless Wi-Fi coverage right into the furthest corners of the home.

A high-performance network for every device... Thanks to Wi-Fi 6. The Wi-Fi 6 standard meets the demands of an ever-growing number of Wi-Fi devices. From smartphones to smart bulbs, as well as tablets, PCs, 4K TVs and speakers, more and more devices are used simultaneously on the Wi-Fi network. Thanks to Wi-Fi 6 with two radio units, data rates of up to 3000 Mbit/s can be achieved (2400 Mbit/s on 5 GHz + 600 Mbit/s on 2.4 GHz). Wi-Fi 6 also ensures more efficient distribution of the available bandwidth. As a result, even older smartphones and laptops benefit from the performance of the Mesh Wi-Fi Extender 1600.

Perfect within a Mesh Wi-Fi network. In a Mesh Wi-Fi network, several distributed Wi-Fi access points (a FRITZ!Box and several FRITZ!Repeaters, for example) are interconnected to form one single, intelligent Wi-Fi network. FRITZ! devices installed in different locations communicate with each other and optimise the performance of all connected Wi-Fi devices. Smart technologies such as Crossband Repeating, Band Steering and advanced auto channel guarantee excellent Wi-Fi coverage at all times. This means the best connection is always established wherever it is needed. You can then stream videos, game online or download files smoothly and at top speed, right into the furthest corners of every room. For added convenience, the Wi-Fi network has just one name and one password, and it is securely encrypted.

Maximum security and convenience. The most advanced encryption standards guarantee data confidentiality across the entire Mesh Wi-Fi network. The LEDs on the housing indicate the radio signal strength, making it easy to find the best possible position for the Mesh Wi-Fi Extender 1600. And installation is child's play: once plugged into a power socket, the repeater pairs at the push of a button and is automatically integrated into the FRITZ! Mesh network. The built-in Gigabit LAN port enables an ultra-fast NAS connection, the creation of a LAN bridge or the connection of devices without Wi-Fi.
