The Thrustmaster T598 is a Direct Drive racing wheel and pedal set designed for simulation enthusiasts on PlayStation 4, PlayStation 5, and PC. It stands out with its Direct Axial Drive technology, an innovation that delivers a smooth and precise driving experience without the jerks of traditional motors.

Direct Axial Drive Technology

At the heart of the T598 is an axial flux motor capable of delivering a constant torque of 5 Nm, with overshoot capacity reaching 10 Nm for amplified force feedback effects. This design eliminates "cogging", ensuring seamless wheel rotation and increased responsiveness. The integrated HARMONY technology generates high-frequency vibrations, allowing the driver to feel every detail of the track, from curbs to tire skids.

Detachable Sportcar Wheel

The included 30 cm diameter wheel features a sporty design with rubber grips for comfortable handling. It is equipped with magnetic paddles for precise gear shifts and a multifunction encoder offering 12 assignable actions. Its lightweight of 811 g allows full appreciation of the motor’s power.

Upgradeable Raceline LTE Pedal Set

The Raceline LTE pedal set includes two metal pedals with H.E.A.R.T. sensors for improved precision and durability. Pedal stiffness is adjustable via interchangeable springs and a three-position setting. An upgrade with a Load Cell third pedal is planned, offering further customization.

Ecosystem & Compatibility

The T598 is compatible with the Thrustmaster ecosystem, allowing use of various wheels adapted to different driving styles such as rally, GT, or Formula 1. The Quick Release system facilitates easy wheel swapping mid-game. Additionally, an integrated display allows parameter adjustments and real-time race information such as speed or position.

Additional Considerations
