The Fellowes PowerShred® LX85 is a cross-cut P-4 document shredder, perfectly suited for individual offices or home working. Designed for regular use by a single user, this model ensures effective protection of sensitive data while providing practical and safe operation.

With a capacity of 12 sheets per pass, the LX85 shreds each document into 4 x 40 mm particles, achieving a DIN P-4 security level, or around 390 particles per A4 sheet. This cross-cut level is ideal for destroying confidential information with no risk of reconstruction. It can also shred staples, paper clips, and credit cards, making it even more versatile.

Its 20-minute duty cycle allows for handling large volumes without interruption, while the 19-liter pull-out bin (about 312 sheets) makes waste management easy. The Auto-Reverse system prevents paper jams by stopping the machine and automatically reversing the motor, for smoother, jam-free use.

To enhance user safety, the LX85 is equipped with SafeSense® technology, exclusive to Fellowes. This patented system immediately halts shredding when a hand gets too close to the feed slot, preventing accidents at home or in the office.

In terms of design, the shredder stands out for its compact size and light weight (6.8 kg), with dimensions of 49.5 cm high, 34 cm wide, and 24.6 cm deep, making it a perfect fit for personal workspaces. It comes in a sleek and discreet black finish.

The LX85 includes a 3-year machine warranty (2 + 1 year upon registration on the Fellowes website) and 5 years on the cutting blades, offering durability and product confidence. It also features a high recycling rate: 97% of product materials and 90% of packaging are recyclable.
