Here is how the Nuki Door Sensor works

1. Installation of the Nuki Door Sensor
The Nuki Door Sensor consists of a door sensor and a magnet. The door sensor is attached to the door frame. The magnet is attached to the door.

2. Configuration with the Nuki App
The configuration of the sensor is very simple, step by step, with the Nuki App.

3. Connecting to Bluetooth
The Nuki Door Sensor then connects to the Smart Lock 3.0 (Pro) via Bluetooth.

4. Viewing the door status in the app
Afterwards, you see in your Nuki App not only the status of the lock cylinder (unlocked or locked), but also the status of your door (closed or open).

5. Always informed - warning in case of open door
If you wish, you will receive an alert:
1 - when the door remains open for a while
2 - when the locked door is open or
3 - when the open door is locked.
