Philips TV QLED 4K Ambilight 43QS8631/12 43 inches

The 43-inch (108 cm) Philips 43PQS8631 TV brings 4K QLED picture quality and the magic of Ambilight in a compact format, perfect for a bedroom, an office or a small living room. Thanks to its LEDs built into three sides, it projects a halo of coloured light around the screen that adapts to the images in real time. Your films, sports programmes, music videos and games feel bigger and more enveloping. With AmbiScape, your smart bulbs in turn synchronise with the action to immerse the whole room in the atmosphere.

The 3840 x 2160 4K Ultra HD screen takes advantage of Quantum Dot colours for bright, rich and precise images. The P5 Perfect Picture Engine processor enhances every scene by revealing deeper details, intense colours, natural skin tones and smooth motion. Compatible with HDR10+, HDR10 and HLG, this TV supports your various HDR formats, whether you are streaming content or watching from an external source. Micro Dimming technology enhances contrast, and the TV is CalMAN Ready for precision calibration.

For sound, the IntelliSound engine uses artificial intelligence to automatically adjust settings according to the programme: film, series, music or dialogue-rich show. You remain free to choose a preset sound style or customise the sound. Compatible with Dolby Atmos and DTS:X, it delivers 20 W through two 10 W full-range speakers, with voice enhancement and night mode.

The Titan operating system gives you quick and easy access to your favourite films, series and streaming apps, subject to availability. The TV works with Google Home, is compatible with Amazon Alexa and Apple Home, and integrates into your smart home setup thanks to Matter compatibility. Simply press the button on the microphone-equipped remote to give a voice command, and the all-in-one remote also controls your soundbar, headphones and Philips external set-top boxes.

For gaming, the HDMI 2.1 features VRR and ALLM provide smooth and responsive gameplay, complemented by Game Bar 2.0 and a dedicated Ambilight gaming mode. Connectivity brings together 3 HDMI inputs, one of which supports eARC, 2 USB ports, dual-band Wi-Fi, Bluetooth 5.2, a network port, a digital audio output, a headphone output and a DVB-T/T2/C/S/S2 tuner.

Its ultra-slim design with a matte black frame rests on a black metal arch stand. Without the stand, it measures 95.8 x 55.4 x 5.5 cm and weighs 7.57 kg, and it is compatible with VESA 200 x 200 wall mounting. The result of a European eco-design approach, it comes with a remote made from recycled plastic, FSC-certified packaging and manuals printed on recycled paper, while Eco mode and the light sensor help reduce energy consumption.
